1st Anniversary for Zombies

I recently did a caricature for a couples first anniversary (which is paper).

The difference with this one was that they wanted to be portrayed as Zombies riding a dirt bike through Africa. Who said the living dead have no sense of humour? They loved it and wrote “I'd just like to thank you for the excellent job you did on the caricature that my wife organised for our 1st anniversary. I've never had anyone draw me before and it was a real treat. I absolutely love it. Thank you very much.”  

Keep me in mind If you know any vampires out there with a sense of humour about to celebrate a special occasion.

Once again WOW !!!!!! and a million Thank you's . It is BRILLIANT !!    The first was a wedding gift which was an enormous hit, everyone at the Wedding absolutely loved it. A totally original gift and the Bride and Groom looked identical to their photos I sent you. A real talking point and is still commented on by visitors years later. You capture every detail so very precise.
The second was also for a Wedding, this time my daughter and it was their most loved gift. Thank to you I am the favorite Mother In law.
This new one is for my other Son In laws 30th, he will go nuts. It is him to a tee. We are all amazed by your talent and thank you so much for getting this done on such short notice.

"I gave my boyfriend his picture for his 21st and he absolutely loved it! The detail in all the little pictures and his face alone was amazing.

When I first received it, it was still 2weeks before his actual birthday and I was so excited when I saw it I had tears in my eyes I wanted to show everyone!!!!

Best Birthday present ever, it's currently hanging on his wall in his room and we always look at it and smile! Rhys had it placed in his kitchen at his 21st so everyone who walked in got to admire it, and I got all the praise :) 'Aw that's fantastic' 'who gave you that' 'where'd you get that done' 'good work Carmen', is what I heard all night long.

Nice way to finish the year

It was certainly a busy time leading up to Christmas this year. In addition to the Christmas gift orders I was busy with caricatures for Weddings, Anniversaries, Retirements and Birthdays. I have attached three I completed recently with the customers response. Certainly a nice way to finish the year.

I love the caricature of my cousin Emogene! The image of her is astounding! You are a fantastic and gifted artist. I didn't know what to give as a Christmas gift for a person who has everything. When I thought about a caricature, I was a little hesitant. I can say that I am truly pleased with your work! I will highly recommend you to anyone thinking about giving a caricature as a gift, or for their own enjoyment.  I can't wait to see Emogene's reaction when she opens the package Christmas day! Hi Phil, I wish I hadn’t wasted $$ on getting a quick caricature from another person – Phil Spratt’s one of my partner, a very complex man ranging from the in-control quiet, calm pilot right across the realm to a wilder sort who loves Star Trek, opera and outdoor adventures equally, was just brilliant and my partner really loved it as it captured his spirit very well.  Absolutely worth it in every sense and  we have since recommended a Sprattiart piece to many friends and business associates; come to think of it, wouldn’t mind one myself!

50 years and still going strong

Here is a caricature I did this week for a couple who have been married for 50 years. Their daughter commissioned it for their anniversary.

He is an accountant (note dollar signs on the carpet and the beans on the desk) and his wife has been his secretary for decades and they still work together. I just had to have her sitting on the boss’ lap.

Fittingly I am also working on a caricature this week for a young couple celebrating their first anniversary (which is appropriately paper).

Anniversaries prove popular.

Spratti Produces Only Hand-Painted Originals.

Buying a caricature? Watch what you buy as there are a number of caricaturists out there that don’t make it clear when you purchase from them that you will only receive a digital print-out and not original artwork.

I work only in pen and ink and watercolour on watercolour paper and use only quality materials that last and last.

Why would anybody want to receive a digital print-out as a gift when they can receive an original hand-painted caricature by Spratti at around the same price?

If you want a digital copy of the original I can easily scan and send you one at no charge - the best of both worlds.

Keep that special occasion special by giving a lasting and genuinely original caricature by Spratti.
