Here are the steps I go through when producing a caricature
Step 1. Study the photos sent to me to get an understanding of the subjects facial structure.
Step 2. Draw preliminary sketches of the subjects head until I am happy with the result.
Step 3. Compose the caricature so the heads, bodies and all the personal details fit together.
Step 4. Ink the outline onto the watercolour paper using pen and ink.
Step 5. Add the watercolour and watch it come alive.

The above double caricature was commissioned by a customer for her parent's 60th anniversary. Why are they naked? Because they are nudists.
